Telecommunications Minister Amr Talaat and Gharbia Governor Tarek Rahmi inspected on Saturday the construction works of the Digital Egypt Creativity Center at Tanta University.
Established by the ICT Ministry, the creativity center aims to develop the skills of youth in the information technology (IT) and entrepreneurship scores to meet the requirements of the local and global labor markets.
The ministry seeks to increase the number of centers from three to 30 with total investments worth EGP 5 billion. The first phase included establishing eight centers, while 12 others are being established under the second phase. The third phase will include seven centers.
The Gharbia center is expected to be finished in 2023.
