Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhy congratulated on Saturday his Moroccan counterpart Chakib Benmoussa on the historic winning of Morocco over Portugal in the 2022 World Cup quarter-finals.
Sobhy sent a cable of congratulations to the Moroccan Embassy in Cairo, lauding the Moroccan team’s achievement as the first Arab and African team to reach the FIFA World Cup semi-finals.
The minister wished that the Moroccan team would reach the finals.
