President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Sunday visiting Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said Egypt highly appreciates the deeply-rooted ties with Italy as well as the fruitful cooperation.
He said the talks are expected to tackle a number of key strategic files.
The two sides will also exchange views on a number of regional and international issues.
