Sisi Places Health of Egyptian Citizen at Heart of Egypt’s Vision 2030

Cairo: Chairman of the Egyptian Company for Supply and Procurement Chains Amr Abdel Nabi affirmed that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has placed the health of the Egyptian citizen at the heart of Egypt's Vision 2030, making the development of the healthcare sector and its core components - particularly supply chains - a national priority. Abdel Nabi made remarks during a panel discussion at the 5th edition of the EGY Health Exhibition and Conference on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdel Nabi highlighted that supply chains are no longer just a supporting element of the healthcare system; they have become the backbone ensuring the efficiency and sustainability of medical services. He emphasized the importance of applying the "7 Rights" principle in supply chains, delivering the right product with the right quality, at the right place, at the right time, to the right patient, and at the right cost.

He stressed that this principle transforms supply chains into a practical tool that guarantees fairness and efficiency in healthcare services. Abdel Nabi added that Egypt is witnessing a shift from traditional supply chain management to an integrated system based on technology, local manufacturing of medicines, vaccines, and medical supplies, and governance supported by a logistics revolution-including the development of ports, road networks, and the establishment of strategic warehouses-positioning Egypt as a resilient and expanding regional hub.

Abdel Nabi revealed that the launch of the Egyptian Association for Healthcare Supply Chains marks the establishment of the first non-profit entity of its kind, bringing together experts, academics, and practitioners, with the aim of building a leading national platform to develop supply chains in Egypt and the region in line with global best practices.
