President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed on Thursday 4/8/2022 to provide 600 million pounds as an additional support to the presidential initiative to end waiting lists for surgical procedures.
In a press release, Presidency Spokesman Bassam Radi said that President Sisi also directed to provide more financial support to doctors through developing the financial system of the health sector in order to enhance the livelihood of doctors especially those working in rare specializations and remote areas.
The president also ordered to financially support students of governmental universities. He also ordered to strengthen cadres working in centers and institutes affiliated with the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry in order to increase the number of researchers and enhance the performance of these entities.
