President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gives top priority to developing and expanding road networks, which are considered a key driver of development, affirmed Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.
During a cabinet meeting Sunday at the new government headquarters in New Alamein City, Madbouli reviewed proposals to link Khedival Cairo with the new corridors in the east and west of Cairo.
This is part of the plans to develop the road network and axes all over Egypt, the premier noted.
The meeting was attended by Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar and Transport Consultant Ahmed Moussa.
