Egypt has named Rui Vitoria as the new coach of its national football team.
The announcement was made in the early hours of Tuesday, with the Portuguese coach taking over following the sudden dismissal of Ehab Galal after just three matches in charge.
Vitoria, a two-time Portuguese league winner with Benfica, signed a four-year contract, the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) said in a statement.
