PM Moustafa Madbouli Inspects Development Projects in Monufiya Governorate

Monufiya: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli announced on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, that his visit to Monufiya governorate underscores the government's commitment to monitoring the progress of national projects in Egypt, with a focus on the presidential "Decent Life" initiative for rural development. Speaking at the start of his tour, Madbouli stated that the purpose of the visit is to inspect and inaugurate several development and service projects across various villages and centers within the governorate.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this tour is part of a series of ongoing field visits aimed at accelerating the implementation of national projects, addressing any obstacles, and ensuring their timely completion to benefit citizens nationwide. Madbouli highlighted the importance of reviewing projects currently underway under the "Decent Life" initiative, particularly in the education and health sectors, as well as other projects serving the residents of Monufiya.

The prime minister emphasized that the government is working diligently to complete the first phase of the initiative, which is expected to benefit approximately 18 million residents in the targeted villages. This effort aligns with directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to deliver projects on schedule. Madbouli also mentioned that completing this phase will set the stage for the second phase of the initiative, aimed at further enhancing services for citizens in all governorates.

Accompanying the prime minister were Minister of Education Mohamed Abdel Latif, Monufiya Governor Ibrahim Abou-leimon, Deputy Minister of Housing Sayyed Ismail, Deputy Governor Mohamed Mousa, and senior local officials.
