New alamein: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli inaugurated an exhibition of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), showcasing products from the ATICO Wood Industries Factory and the Electronics Factory, located at North Square Mall in New Alamein City.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this event took place during Madbouli's inspection tour on Saturday 26/7/2025, aimed at following up on several development projects along Egypt's Northwestern Coast.
Madbouli was accompanied by Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Sherif el Sherbiny, Matrouh Governor Khaled Shuaib, AOI Chairman Mokhtar Abdel Latif, and Head of the New Alamein City Authority Ahmed Ibrahim. Following the inauguration, Madbouli and his delegation toured the exhibition.
Abdel Latif noted that the exhibition spans an area of 650 square meters under the slogan 'Made in Egypt.' It features the latest AOI products, including home appliances, electronic devices, security systems, and wooden furniture essentials for modern households. Abdel Latif asserted that the establishment of the exhibition in New Alamein is part of an ambitious marketing strategy developed by the AOI to meet customer needs with high-quality, locally manufactured, eco-friendly products. He added that the exhibition aligns with the latest digital transformation mechanisms.
During the visit to the ATICO Wood Industries section, Madbouli listened to a presentation by Sherif Raafat, Executive Director of ATICO, on the range of wooden furniture products on display. Raafat referred to a partnership between ATICO and Antares, a Romanian company specialized in office chairs and various sofa designs, that enabled local manufacturing of these products in Egypt. Raafat also noted that AOI showrooms offer attractive and flexible installment plans suited to different customer needs. In celebration of the exhibition's opening, a public draw will be held for participating customers, offering valuable gifts to the winners.
Madbouli personally inspected several wooden furniture pieces to assess their strength and durability, reaffirming his interest in ensuring high-quality standards. In the electronics section of the AOI exhibition, Madbouli was briefed by Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Electronics Factory. The display included a wide array of products such as televisions, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, fans, microwave ovens, satellite receivers, LED lighting systems, surveillance cameras, computers, tablets, laptops, and mobile phones. Abdel Aziz noted that a special promotional discount of up to 50% will be available for one week marking the exhibition's launch.
Madbouli took the opportunity to test one of the interactive screens produced by the Electronics Factory, expressing interest in the different models and sizes available. He stressed the importance of promoting these products and ensuring their availability in commercial retail chains across the country, particularly given their competitive pricing and high quality. Madbouli commended the AOI's efforts to localize cutting-edge technologies in electronics, home appliances, and wooden furniture manufacturing. He praised both the quality and the suitable prices of the products offered.
