PM Emphasizes Addressing Complaints of Citizens with Disabilities

Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli directed that special attention be given to the complaints and appeals of citizens with disabilities across various sectors. Madbouli stressed the need for serious and prompt engagement with these issues and providing the most effective responses.According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli emphasized that the state places great importance on people with disabilities, recognizing their value and committing strongly to their empowerment and integration into all aspects of public life, in alignment with presidential initiatives and supportive government programs. This came as Madbouli reviewed a report submitted by Tarek el-Refai, Assistant Secretary-General of the Cabinet for Complaints and Citizen Satisfaction, regarding examples of the Unified Complaints System's responses to complaints and requests from persons with disabilities, in coordination with the relevant ministries and authorities.For his part, Refai affirmed the system's strong commitment to pr omptly addressing complaints from persons with disabilities, maintaining close coordination with the ministries and entities concerned to follow up on their efforts, and monitoring the measures implemented to ensure that the root causes of the complaints are addressed and the needs of this highly valued group are met.In his report, Refai explained that, in implementation of the prime minister's directives to continuously work toward providing the best possible responses to complaints and to facilitate a dignified life for persons with disabilities, the Unified Government Complaints System at the cabinet responded to 7,898 complaints, requests, and inquiries from persons with disabilities and their families between May and the end of August 2025.
