Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli affirmed the importance of addressing seasonal complaints related to rising temperatures, emphasizing the need for prompt action to resolve these issues and provide optimal responses to the public.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the Premier instructed officials to intensify efforts to receive, monitor, and address public complaints within the framework of enhancing community participation and improving the quality of public services nationwide. This directive was made during a review of the July 2025 performance report of the Cabinet's Unified Government Complaints System, prepared by the System's Director, Tarek el Refai.
Refai reported that the system had received and tracked 218,000 complaints, requests, and inquiries. Out of these, 180,000 complaints were forwarded to the concerned bodies after initial review and verification, while 38,000 were closed centrally before referral.
He also noted that ministries accounted for 71 percent of all complaints referred last month, with governorates representing 18 percent of the total complaints referred to the competent authorities.
