Cairo: Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi discussed with CEO of Canadian Tag Oil, Abby Badawi, operation in Egypt’s Badr-1 field in the Western Desert as well as the company’s plans to expand its exploration.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between the Egyptian government and international oil companies. The discussions focused on strategies to increase the efficiency and output of the Badr-1 field, which is a significant site for petroleum extraction in the Western Desert.
Both parties are optimistic about the potential benefits of this collaboration, which aims at not only increasing production but also introducing advanced technologies to optimize resource management.
