Cairo: Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sewilam affirmed the ministry's participation in the presidential initiative "Tahaluf wa Tanmeya" (Alliance and Development) through its Regional Training Center. This involvement is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to improve the water sector.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the initiative also aims to prepare and empower a new generation of youth to manage current and future challenges in water resources. The initiative was launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The presidential initiative is viewed as a model of successful collaboration among the government, academic, and private sectors.
