Doha: The head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, has called for a unified stance in the Security Council against the Israeli entity for its aggression towards the State of Qatar and the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that any aggression against Qatar is an aggression against the Arab and Islamic nation as a whole.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, during his address at the joint Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, Al-Menfi highlighted that the Israeli actions targeting Qatar's sovereignty are part of a broader campaign of genocide in Gaza and escalating tensions in Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. He pointed out that these actions demonstrate a blatant disregard for international law and the sovereignty of states.

Al-Menfi expressed Libya's rejection of these actions, underscoring Libya's full solidarity with Qatar. He stated that any attack on an Arab or Islamic country impacts the entire community. The President of the Presidential Council also called for international protection for the Palestinian people and urged for diplomatic and legal efforts to hold the aggressors accountable. He mentioned the importance of continuing the historic move initiated by South Africa, which Libya was the first to support before the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.
