Israeli Aggression on Qatar Sparks Egyptian Condemnation

Cairo: Head of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mohamed El-Orabi, has denounced the recent Israeli aggression targeting the State of Qatar, labeling it as a violation of a sovereign Arab state.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, El-Orabi emphasized Egypt's condemnation of the aggression through official statements released by both the Egyptian Presidency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These statements underscore Egypt's full support for Qatar during this time.

In addressing concerns about the impact of this aggression on Qatari-Egyptian mediation efforts aimed at achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, El-Orabi expressed doubt. He noted that Israel appears to have abandoned the idea of reaching a ceasefire solution in Gaza, continuing its actions against the Palestinian people despite mediation attempts by Qatar and Egypt. This, he asserted, highlights Israel's aggressive stance.

El-Orabi further called for unity among Arab countries, emphasizing the importance of a collective focus on preserving the Palestinian cause and protecting Palestinian lives. He stated that, ultimately, Israel would be the party that suffers most from its actions.
