Luxor: The Indian Express website has selected Luxor as one of the six most ancient cities worth visiting in the world. In its report, titled ‘The top six most ancient cities in the world’, the website highlighted Luxor’s significance due to its wealth of historical monuments and authentic traditions, considering it akin to an open-air museum that reflects the progress of human civilization. Luxor’s temples and royal tombs were particularly emphasized as testaments to the grandeur of ancient Egyptian civilization.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Curly Tales, a website specializing in food and travel, has also recognized Egypt as one of the top 10 tourist destinations in the Middle East for food tourism. The report praised these destinations for their rich and diverse cuisine, which mirrors the richness of traditions and cultures. Egypt, in particular, stood out for its ancient cuisine, offering traditional dishes that are immensely popular among visitors and tourists.
The report further explained that Egyptian cuisine is highly diverse, blending authenticity with rich flavors. Cairo, for example, is renowned for its popular dishes such as kushari, foul, and taamiya, providing visitors with a unique taste of the essence of everyday Egyptian life.
