FM Reviews Egypt’s Efforts to End Israeli War on Gaza

Alula: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reviewed Egypt's ongoing efforts to bring an end to the Israeli war on Gaza, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid and reject all attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians from their land. According to State Information Service Egypt, this came during Abdelatty's meeting on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, with Deputy Chair of the Munich Security Conference Helga Maria Schmid on the sidelines of the Munich Leaders Meeting held in AlUla in Saudi Arabia. Abdelatty expressed Egypt's appreciation for its cooperation with the Munich Security Conference, describing it as a high-level platform for the exchange of perspectives on pressing international and regional issues. He praised the growing role in shaping innovative approaches to peace and security, particularly in light of the rapid transformations underway in the global order. He also highlighted the conference's value in facilitating dialogue among senior officials from a cross the world, reflecting a shared commitment to leveraging multilateral platforms in support of international peace and stability. The meeting also included an exchange of views on the latest developments in Gaza.
