ICT Ministry Launches National Tech Contest with Over 25,000 Participants

Cairo: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology announced that more than 25,000 contestants have registered for the inaugural edition of DIGITOPIA, the nation's largest tech competition. This event boasts total prizes amounting to EGP 10 million, with a grand prize of EGP 1 million.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the competition has attracted over 6,500 teams from various regions across Egypt. These teams will be competing in several key digital disciplines, including software and AI solutions, digital arts and gaming, and cyber security.

The diverse group of participants includes individuals as young as 10 years old and entrepreneurs up to the age of 35, showcasing a wide range of talent and innovation from different age groups.
