Huawei Hosts Conference On Cloud Technology In Egypt

Cairo: More than 600 government officials, business leaders, and ecosystem partners from over 10 countries shared their vision for a digital North Africa during a conference on cloud technology hosted by Chinese tech giant Huawei in Cairo.

According to Nam News Network, in his speech, Egypt's Deputy Prime Minister, Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, emphasized that an increasing amount of data is being stored locally in Egypt, which serves not only as a technological choice but also as a guarantee of data security.

Additionally, Egypt's Minister of Health and Population, Abdel-Ghaffar, remarked on the significant benefits the healthcare industry will experience as it embraces digital transformation. Last year, Huawei Cloud launched its Cairo Region in May, aiming to provide cloud services to countries in North Africa.
