Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar has said that 36 projects of drinking water and sanitation are being implemented in Menoufia in addition to scores others being carried out to provide sanitation in the rural areas.
In a statement issued by the Housing Ministry on Tuesday, Gazzar said that water station projects were implemented in Tala, Berket el Sabea, Hamoul and other areas in Menoufia.
Head of the National Authority for Potable Water and Sewage Ihab Khedr said that there are 157 rural areas served by sanitation in Menoufia.
He said that sanitation services are being implemented in 86 rural areas.
