Cairo: The House of Representatives convened on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to open the sixth ordinary session of the second legislative term, under the chairmanship of Speaker Hanafi Gebaly. During the meeting, key announcements were made, marking the commencement of a new legislative chapter.

According to State Information Service Egypt, presidential decrees were read out declaring the conclusion of the fifth ordinary session and inviting the chamber to assemble for the upcoming legislative term.
