Cairo: As part of the Egyptian Commercial Service Office's efforts to select the best talents and empower young cadres to join the foreign trade corps to serve the Egyptian economy in various international markets, and as part of its commitment to ensuring transparency, discipline, and the smooth running of the selection process for new talents to join the trade corps, Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Sherif, Minister Plenipotentiary for Trade, First Undersecretary of the Ministry, and Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service, conducted an inspection tour of the examination complex at Cairo University on Monday, October 27, 2025, to monitor the progress of the 2025 Commercial Attach© Examinations. The competition will be held from October 27 to 29, 2025.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this tour comes as part of the Egyptian Commercial Service Office's commitment to selecting the best academic and linguistic talents capable of representing Egypt economically and commercially abroad, in line with the requirements of modern economic diplomacy.
During the tour, El-Sherif inspected the examination halls and ensured that they were proceeding smoothly in an appropriate environment that ensures equal opportunities for all applicants. He also listened to the comments of the competition organizers, directing them to adhere to the highest standards of transparency, discipline, and accuracy in marking and assessment.
The exams cover several specialized and linguistic subjects, including Arabic, a first foreign language (optional: English or French), a second foreign language, international economics and international trade, and the economies of Egypt, Arab countries, and Africa.
Passing this exam is the first step in an integrated system to qualify new cadres to work in the Egyptian Commercial Service, in preparation for interviews and final exams. This will enhance the ability of the Egyptian Commercial Service to perform its duties in supporting Egyptian exports, attracting foreign investment, and developing economic relations between Egypt and various countries around the world.
