Cairo: Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS), Minister Plenipotentiary Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Sherif, met with newly appointed military attach©s scheduled for overseas assignments. This meeting was organized to discuss the ECS's responsibilities, global economic trends, recent developments in the Egyptian economy, efforts to attract investments, and key investment sectors for the future. Additionally, the session focused on the collaboration between defense offices and Egyptian commercial offices abroad.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Dr. El-Sherif emphasized that the meeting illustrates the integration of Egypt's comprehensive power tools, with institutions working in harmony to support the broader objectives of the Egyptian economy. He highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation between defense and commercial offices globally, amid rapid economic and geopolitical shifts, as economic strength increasingly influences a country's international standing.
Dr. El-Sherif also noted the ongoing cooperation and alignment between the military and commercial sectors to advance Egypt's interests in trade and investment. He stressed the importance of unified efforts to realize the country's priorities and goals in the near future.
This meeting was part of a specialized preparatory course for military attach©s before they assume their international roles. The ECS contributes to the course through lectures conducted by various ministers plenipotentiary and department directors, focusing on Egypt's economic and trade relationships worldwide, as well as foreign investment attraction and international trade.
