Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty is scheduled to hold a series of intensive meetings on Saturday with several counterparts and the Chairperson of the African Union Commission on the sidelines of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) inauguration ceremony. The minister will begin his early-morning meetings with talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Ricardo Patern² di Montecupo. He will also meet with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta, Ian Borg.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty is also set to hold talks with Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars L¸kke Rasmussen and Japanese Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Kunimitsu Ayano. The minister will further engage with Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Bianka Mainl-Raisinger, Ghanaian Minister of Foreign Affairs Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, and Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Olivier Nduhungirehe. Additionally, on Saturday, Abdelatty will receive the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf.
