FM Stresses Need to Launch Early Recovery and Reconstruction Plans in Gaza

Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty emphasized the urgent need to initiate early recovery and reconstruction plans in Gaza as soon as possible. This should be done within a comprehensive vision that protects the rights of the Palestinians, in accordance with both the Arab-Islamic plan for early recovery and reconstruction and US President Donald Trump's Middle East peace plan.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this statement came during a series of phone calls between Abdelatty and his counterparts: Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani, Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Jos© Manuel Albares, German Minister of Foreign Affairs Johann Wadephul, and Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand.

The discussions were part of Egypt's ongoing diplomatic efforts to coordinate international initiatives regarding the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. During the calls, Abdelatty and his counterparts discussed the ongoing preparations for Egypt's hosting of the International Conference on Early Recovery, Reconstruction, and Development in Gaza.

The foreign ministers of the four countries expressed their appreciation for Egypt's pivotal role in promoting regional stability and affirmed their commitment to continued coordination with Cairo on issues related to early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza, particularly in the context of preparations for the international conference Egypt plans to host in November.
