Berlin: Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Minister Badr Abdelatty on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, congratulated Egypt's top high school graduates, describing them as a source of great hope for the country's future. In a recorded message to the students during their visit to the Egyptian Embassy in Berlin, Abdelatty praised their outstanding academic achievements and urged them to seize every opportunity for growth, both at home and abroad.According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty encouraged the students to take advantage of opportunities available to them in both Egypt and abroad, emphasizing the importance of investing in knowledge, learning, and openness to the world as drivers of Egypt's future. He stressed the significance of continued education, research, and cultural engagement, drawing from his own experiences as a top high school graduate more than three decades ago.The visit was organized under the auspices of the German University in Cairo (GUC), the German International U niversity (GIU), and the GUC Berlin campus. Egypt's Ambassador in Berlin, Mohamed El-Badri, noted the symbolic weight of the visit, highlighting its role in reflecting the cultural ties between Egypt and Germany. He praised the initiative for setting an example of people-to-people communication and promoting a positive image of Egyptian identity and excellence.El-Badri pointed out Germany's historic contributions to thought, art, and science, encouraging students to capitalize on the study opportunities there.
