Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty received Minister of Awqaf Osama el Azhari on Saturday, 13/9/2025. Abdelatty praised the ongoing coordination between the ministries of foreign affairs and Awqaf, as well as their shared commitment to strengthening joint cooperation.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Awqaf in various countries to enhance Egypt's standing in the Arab and Islamic worlds. He highlighted the important role played by imams in spreading the true teachings of Islam, promoting the values of tolerance and coexistence, and combating extremist ideologies.

Abdelatty welcomed the existing coordination between the two ministries regarding training programs for visiting preachers from around the world. The meeting also confirmed the importance of continuing joint coordination between the two ministries.
