Enppi-Petrojet Consortium has won a tender to implement a 10MW solar power plant in cooperation with Assiut Oil Refining Company (ASORC).
Worth 550 million pounds, the station is estimated to be completed in 11 months.
It has been devised to serve new projects and ones under construction by ASORC to promote green energy utilization through the optimal use of solar energy saving 10 percent of the annual electricity consumption.
Enppi and Petrojet will be in charge of designs and constructions of the plant.
