Cairo: Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, and Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk have reaffirmed the ongoing collaboration among relevant ministries and entities to spotlight Egyptian civilization, coinciding with the momentous opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the ministers announced the joint initiative, which includes the release of commemorative gold and silver coins and postage stamps that capture the magnificence of this exceptional cultural landmark. They emphasized Egypt's commitment to preserving national identity, commemorating significant historical events, and presenting its rich heritage to a global audience.
Minister Fathy remarked that these commemorative items represent Egypt's commitment to documenting pivotal national events and embedding Egyptian culture, art, and heritage in the public's memory. Minister Talaat also highlighted the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology's efforts to mark the museum's inauguration through specially designed commemorative stamps.
