Cairo: The Ministry of Social Solidarity has entered into a cooperation protocol with the Supreme Council of Technological Education to establish 12 new social solidarity units within technological universities nationwide. This initiative aims to enhance social and economic services for students, both throughout the academic year and during the summer break, as well as support recent graduates.According to State Information Service Egypt, these units are designed to offer an integrated package of services that address the basic needs of students during their university years and continue to support them after graduation. The initiative is part of broader efforts to promote social peace and security, with the ultimate goal of achieving integrated and sustainable development across the nation.The new units will also focus on fostering a sense of belonging, citizenship, and volunteerism among students. By encouraging participation in public and developmental activities, the initiative seeks to increase inves tment in human capital, thereby contributing to the country's overall growth and stability.
