Cairo: Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Minister Badr Abdelatty highlighted the significance of his visit to Saudi Arabia during a period of regional challenges, emphasizing the directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to enhance relations across political, economic, trade, and investment sectors.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty shared in an interview with eXtra News that discussions with Saudi officials are centered on urgent regional issues, including the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as ongoing conflicts in countries such as Sudan, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen. He noted the shared responsibility of Egypt and Saudi Arabia, as influential regional powers, to bolster coordination in addressing these concerns. He also stressed the importance of continuous consultation between the two nations to support Arab solidarity and regional stability.
