Egypt and Germany Explore Enhanced Cooperation in Air Services

Cairo: Chairman and CEO of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation Ayman Arab, along with Chairman and CEO of the National Air Navigation Services Company Ihab Azmy, visited the headquarters of Rohde and Schwarz, a renowned German company specializing in communications and air navigation solutions, on Saturday.According to State Information Service Egypt, the visit is part of Egypt's ongoing efforts to support and develop its civil aviation and air navigation sectors. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Civil Aviation's directives to strengthen international partnerships and adopt cutting-edge technologies. The Egyptian delegation was warmly welcomed by the management of Rohde and Schwarz.During the visit, senior company leaders conducted a series of official meetings and executive sessions with the Egyptian delegation. The visit also featured extensive field tours of the company's production lines, testing labs, design, and innovation centers. The delegation had the opportuni ty to observe the latest airport security gates used for metal detection of travelers.Ayman Arab described the visit as a strategic move towards expanding technical cooperation with major international companies. He highlighted Egypt's commitment to modernizing airport infrastructure and air navigation services to boost regional and global competitiveness. This visit is part of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation's comprehensive strategy to enhance airport services, as well as the National Air Navigation Services Company's plan to upgrade its technical systems to meet the latest international standards.Both parties expressed their enthusiasm for opening new opportunities for future cooperation on projects that support Egypt's digital transition strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the quality of air services.
