Antiquities minister follows up latest developments in GEM project

Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled El Anani followed up the latest developments in the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) project in preparation for its inauguration.

During his inspection tour on GEM, Anani reviewed the display techniques at the museum’s various halls, especially the graphics and multimedia as well as the plan to show the various artifacts in the main halls.

He also listened to a detailed explanation from representatives of Hassan Allam Holding about progress in the implementation of the service area for visitors as well as the GEM’s commercial zone.

The minister checked on the work for displaying King Khufu boats at the GEM, pressing the necessity of abiding by the previously set schedules to complete GEM project on time.
