Cairo: "Ajiba Petroleum" has successfully brought the "Arcadia-28" well into production, aligning with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources' strategy to maximize local petroleum resource production. The sector continues its concerted efforts to boost production rates and meet the state's energy needs. According to State Information Service Egypt, Agiba Petroleum announced its accomplishment of initiating production from the Arcadia-28 well, targeting the Carbonate Reservoirs formation. This followed a precise acid stimulation operation conducted on 19 July 2025, using advanced techniques akin to those used in the Iris well. These endeavors have culminated in a daily production rate of approximately 4,100 barrels of oil equivalent. This milestone significantly enhances the company's daily production capacity, underscoring the effectiveness of the development and enhancement plans implemented by the company within its concession areas.
