It reminds us of the profound impact books have in fostering friendships across cultures and continents and promoting empathy and understanding between distant peoples.
In a statement on World Book Day, Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi said, ‘Today, I am particularly grateful for the exceptional leadership of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. His unwavering commitment to prioritize books, reading, and culture as pillars of our development strategy has inspired many and contributed significantly to the progress of our nation.’
