Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa hailed achievements of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) in 2022.
During a meeting on Tuesday 27/12/2022, with the SCA board of directors, the minister of antiquities commended the numerous SCA’s excavations, impressive archeological inaugurations, along with overhauling operations at a number of museums and archeological sites across Egypt.
The SCA’s Fiscal Year 2023/2024 draft budget also figured high on the meetings discussions.
SCA Secretary General Mostafa Waziri posted participants on the latest developments regarding progress in all activities carried out by the Authority’s affiliated sectors.
The SCA’s painstaking efforts include work covering excavations, unearthing operations at a number of archeological sites, renovation of monuments and restoration of smuggled ancient artifacts from some countries.
Meantime, the meeting took up ongoing preparations for organizing a number of temporary overseas exhibitions showcasing ancient Egyptian pieces to help promulgate for the Egyptian civilization and heritage all around the globe.
