Three Palestinians injured in assault by Israeli soldiers in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM: Three Palestinian civilians from the city of Beit Sahour, east of Bethlehem, suffered fractures and bruises this afternoon in an assault by Israeli occupation forces at a military checkpoint, according to Palestinian security sources.

The sources informed WAFA that Israeli forces stopped a vehicle at the Container military checkpoint, located northeast of Bethlehem. They then physically attacked those inside the vehicle, resulting in one person sustaining a fracture in his hand, another with a fracture in his leg, and a third with bruises and wounds on his body.

The three were subsequently transported to hospital for medical treatment.
