The Independent Commission warns of the worsening humanitarian crisis in Nour Shams camp and the rest of the camps and villages

Ramallah – Ma’an – The Independent Commission for Human Rights (Board of Grievances) held the Israeli government responsible for the catastrophic results resulting from the occupation’s systematic and continuing repressive policies on the civilian population, as a result of the repeated military invasions of Palestinian camps and towns, and the escalation of settlers’ attacks and terrorism against defenseless Palestinian citizens, their homes and their property. She pointed out: The invasion of the camp caused widespread destruction to the infrastructure and shops, as a result of the bulldozing of the streets, alleys and neighborhoods of the camp, which led to the cutting of telephone lines, electricity, internet, water and sewage networks, in addition to the destruction of 60 homes, of which 15 were completely destroyed, and the displacement of their owners.

The Human Rights Council called for a special emergency session to discuss the repeated Israeli aggression against the Palestinian camps and its repercussions on the human rights and humanitarian situation there.

The Permanent International Commission of Inquiry to raise the level of its legal interventions and warnings in accordance with the expanding scope of Israeli violations against Palestinian civilians in the occupied Palestinian territory.
