Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi affirmed utmost keenness on Egypt’s hosting of major international tournaments in various games throughout the year.

The minister also referred to Egypt’s huge sports infrastructure, which is in line with international standards, as well as the luxury hotels in the country, the huge roads network and the distinguished administrative and organizational experiences.

The minister’s remarks came during attending Saturday 18/02/2023 the signing ceremony of an agreement between the International Water Sports Federation and the Egyptian Swimming Federation.

As per the agreement, Egypt will play host to a series of international tournaments in water sports in Hurghada’s Soma Bay.

Three prestigious swimming events will be held in Soma Bay, according to the signed pact.

Soma Bay is always hosting a variety of sports activities and diversified world-class tournaments.
