Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhy opened on Friday the fifth edition of the African Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, organized by the Egyptian Gymnastics Federation.
As many as 70 players from Algeria, Benin, Cameroon, DR Congo, Morocco and Sierra Leon, and Cape Verde will take part in the two-day event at Hall 2 of the Cairo Stadium.
Sobhy expressed his happiness for the great development that Egyptian gymnastics see over the past years, describing it as a big leap.
