Rubu’ Qarn trains future generations to explore mathematics in its 2nd Kumon Programme

SHARJAH: From 13th May to 30th December, 2024, Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators will launch the second edition of the mathematics programme ‘Kumon’, in collaboration and strategic partnership with Kumon Institute of Education, which has spread widely to more than 60 countries and regions.

This stems from its commitment to developing the skills of future generations and empowering them in mathematics to achieve excellence and distinction.

Through its multiple levels, the programme focuses on developing participants’ abilities to master fundamental skills in mathematics. These will be presented in a nurturing learning environment that inspires participants to find creative solutions to challenging mathematical problems, enhance their analytical and creative thinking skills, and gain life skills such as self-learning and boosted self-confidence.

The programme reflects Rubu’ Qarn commitment to providing unique learning experiences that align with the aspirations of its members and particip
ants from various regions in Sharjah. It also aligns with their passion for mathematics, relying on an enriching system that gradually builds strong foundational skills, from basic arithmetic to advanced mathematical concepts, through an organised innovative approach of independent training, mastery, and precision resulting from repeated practice.

In its second edition, the programme targets 80 participants including children and adolescents aged 6 to 14 years. Those interested in joining the programme are encouraged to visit Rubu’ Qarn social media platforms. Registration will be closed on 1st May and the programme will be held at Sharjah Children’s Centres in Qarayen, Al Raqah, Khor Fakkan, and Al Batayeh.

The second edition of the Kumon Programme follows the success of its first edition in developing participants’ skills, as they were keen on continuing self-learning. They expressed their satisfaction with participating in a programme that helped them achieve high results in their schools. Parents praise
d the programme for its tangible role in positively changing their children’s study habits after training them in independent learning without the need for continuous supervision, in addition to developing their skills and upgrading their mental arithmetic experiences.
