Minister of Public Business Sector Mahmoud Essmat and Alexandria Governor Mohamed el Sherif inaugurated on Saturday 01/10/2022 the first phase of renovations at Romance Hotel in the Mediterranean seaport city of Alexandria.
The development works at the hotel, affiliated with the Holding Company For Tourism Hotels and Cinema (HOTAC), cost about EGP 56 million.
This 4 star hotel is located in the elegant Saba Pasha district, between the Montaza Palace and the centre of the city. The hotel offers 45 suites and 36 rooms all with panoramic sea views, of which most have been recently renovated. The hotel features gourmet restaurants, a coffee shop, a bar and a nightclub in addition to a fully renovated multi-function ballroom and private parking, wifi free with high speed, New SPA& GYM facilities & free shuttle bus service for its in-house guests.
In a press release, the Public Business Sector Ministry said the minister and the governor made an inspection tour of the hotel to check on its refurbishing process.
During the tour, Essmat thanked all those working to implement the project and stressed keenness on developing tourism facilities and hotels affiliated with his ministry.
