The Egyptian National Seismic Network (ENSN), an affiliate of the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG), recorded on Tuesday 27/12/2022 an earthquake of magnitude 5 on Richter scale about 26 kilometers southwest of el Tor city.
Dean of the Institute Gad El Qadi said in a statement that the tremor occurred at 2:11 a.m., Cairo time.
No casualties or material damage were reported, he added.
