The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply on Wednesday denied rumors of an increase in the price of flour and bread. According to a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said that the mechanism for pricing flour has been fixed for many years, adding that talks of price hikes are “completely unfounded.” The ministry advised the public against making up or spreading false statements, stressing the need to obtain information from its official sources.
