DUBAI: The Ministry of Community Development completed the design and development of four services in line with the “Government Services Development Guide 2.0” to support People of Determination. These services include applying for a People of Determination card, proactive renewal, issuing replacements for lost or damaged cards, and the marriage grants disbursement service.
This initiative aims to support the ministry’s vision of enhancing government work in line with the strategic directives of the UAE government to provide advanced digital services to all social categories conveniently.
The Ministry improved the service for issuing cards for People of Determination by introducing two new services: proactive card renewal and replacement for lost or damaged cards, creating a “comprehensive package.” The service now has streamlined requirements, reduced the necessary documents by integrating with UAE Pass and relevant authorities, requiring only a personal photo and a medical report. Additionally, the card i
ssuance time has been reduced from 10 to just 5 working days.
Moreover, the Ministry enhanced the marriage grant service by reducing the number of required fields from 27 to 20, eliminating the need to attach 11 documents, and cutting the service processing time from 15 days to just 5 days.
