President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach arrived in Cairo on Friday on a two-day visit.

Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi and President of the International Handball Federation Hassan Mostafa, President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, Engineer Hisham Hatab, and President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa Mustapha Berraf welcomed the IOC head upon his arrival.

Bach and his accompanying delegation, headed for the Giza Plateau on his first tour of Egypt.
