Injuries by Israeli gunfire east of Gaza

A number of Palestinian protesters suffered injuries by Israeli gunfire today during a mass demonstration at the east frontier of the Gaza Strip against the provocative Israeli flag-waving march in occupied Jerusalem, according to medical sources. At least five were reported injured by Israeli gunfire during the demonstration, which took place east of Gaza City, of whom three were injured in the foot, face and hand respectively. The demonstration erupted against the backdrop of the nationalist Israeli flag-waving march in occupied Jerusalem, a provocative annual event celebrating Israel’s illegal annexation of occupied East Jerusalem in 1967.
