Inauguration of Mobile Legalization Office in New Capital Targets Enhanced Consular Services

Cairo: Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates, inaugurated the mobile legalization office in the New Capital. The office is set to provide essential legalization services to employees of institutions and government ministries headquartered in the Capital, as well as citizens residing in the area.

According to State Information Service Egypt, six mobile units equipped with the latest communication technologies are being deployed to function as mobile legalization centers. These units will be strategically distributed to expand the reach of mobile legalization services, addressing the needs of citizens. Some units will be designated to operate at specific public universities to further extend their accessibility.

The Legalization Office for Consular Transactions in the New Capital operates during official working hours and is strategically located in front of Building (C) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of consular services.

In line with this, Minister Abdelatty conducted an inspection of the ministry's various sectors and engaged with members of the Consular Department. He emphasized the importance of continuously developing and improving consular services. Additionally, Dr. Abdelatty highlighted the necessity for ongoing attention to the conditions of Egyptian communities abroad and the importance of a prompt response to their needs, including maintaining a 24-hour hotline service to ensure efficient and streamlined services for both domestic and international citizens.
