The Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) held on Friday a workshop on the State Ownership Policy Document on the industry sector in Egypt.
A statement issued by the IDSC said, this week’s panel discussions, the 6th between the government and the private sector, was meant to benefit from the expertise of more than 80 experts and representatives working in the public and private sector’s industrial field.
Deliberations concluded to the necessity of upping investment incentives, protecting laborers’ rights, maintaining the State’s role in leading strategic industries, in addition to adhering to a fiscal neutrality policy, increasing workers rehabilitation programs, promoting the State’s industrial strategies and promulgating a unified industrial law, the statement read.
