Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem el Gazzar has followed up on the status of various ongoing projects in New Alamein City, including beach towers, the entertainment zone, Downtown buildings, and the heritage city.

 

Gazzar said work is underway to complete decorating the facades of 15 beach towers, which goes in line with internal finishes.

 

The minister added that work has been completed at the entertainment zone, which overlooks the sea and includes a garage that can accommodate up to 3,000 cars.

 

Meanwhile, he said the first phase of Downtown New Alamein includes about 40 buildings with 1,320 housing units, noting that work is underway in the second phase which contains 24 other buildings with 896 units.

 

Gazzar added that the heritage city is being built on an area of 260 feddans with a total number of 70 facilities.
